I'm in Colorado doing canvassing and calling. I had my last event about a week ago, and simply could not stand another day of sitting on my behind reading blogs and bringing my limited mathematical abilities to bear on the various polls. It feels great to get out there knocking on doors, let me tell you.

And, even more excitingly, I actually brought an undecided/lean McCain around to Obama. A lovely guy, who was cleaning out his garage when I showed up. His wife was already voting for Barack, but had just about given up on him. Well, I went to work...which really means just telling him what I remember about Barack from law school, and why I support him with such passion. When I left, I gave the man my cell phone number and instructions to call me if he gets wobbly -- be it in the middle of the night or the crack of dawn.

That single vote makes my trip here worth it.
