I love this

The nutjobs who made this video that I saw on Andrew Sullivan think it's a tragedy, a horror. I think it's a lovely sign of integration.

Without tourism, immigration, and integration Ireland would have fallen into economic disrepair way before 2000. I dunno??? Ummmm...Obsolete or moving forward in a future that includes the varietal best of all our planet has to offer. This video should be lauded as an accolade not a tragedy! What dumbasses!

But no one posting here is Irish nor lives in Ireland, right? I think there's a certain part of a culture that is lost to globalization. Ireland barely shook off the grip of one church--why would the country want to plunge into sharia law?

And references to James Joyce are made by people who've obviously not read his letters.

the way i see it is most of the western civilization is becoming globalized. why say that like it is a bad thing? we as the human race are evolving and thriving with the changes. i for one am proud of my Irish heritage as well as the "tossed salad" that is the USA, the land of my birth. Like you, Ayelet, I see this as a beautiful tribute to the colorful beauty that is the people of my ancestral homeland.

Irish heritage and living in Ireland are two different things. The Celtic Tiger has been killed, and immigration was the knife.

IRELAND has moved from having the second lowest unemployment rate among the EU-15 countries two years ago to the second highest, calculations from the OECD show.

You lot make me puke. Nothing like fancy pampered ladies of leisure.
